What does “home sweet home” mean to you? Home is a haven of safety and love, a warm cooked meal, and a place to relax and be comfortable. For The Ridgewood at Shenango Valley these very things are what we strive to provide to our residents. A place where they can feel happy at home with no worries.

The Ridgewood at Shenango Valley, a personal care residence with forty apartments, is a collaborative effort of St. Paul’s Senior Living Community and UPMC Horizon. Its mission is to provide meaning, richness of life and health care services for seniors regardless of a resident’s financial situation. This is made possible through the Good Samaritan Fund.

The Good Samaritan Fund supports benevolent care and provides peace of mind to our residents, ensuring they never have to leave or adjust the level of care they receive because they have exhausted their financial resources. They can continue to stay at The Ridgewood at Shenango Valley and receive the same quality care in their “home sweet home.”

In 2020, The Ridgewood at Shenango Valley provided more than $88,000 in benevolent and unfunded care and we expect that number to increase this year. We are still recovering from the effects of COVID-19 and need your help to support this fund now more than ever.

You can make a difference and provide peace of mind to residents in need at The Ridgewood at Shenango Valley by making a gift to the Good Samaritan Fund today. Thank you in advance for your support!

The need for benevolent care is great! Last year The Ridgewood provided more than $88,000 in benevolent care and we expect that number to increase this year.

Please help us to support a resident in need with peace of mind, security and quality care.
